I Choose Thankful

We are back to school now which means the days are full. Trying to figure out the best way to keep up with housework and church work and other things while taking care of my guys is a challenge. It would be easy to get overwhelmed and whiny about the lack of downtime or the long hours my husband puts in at work. In addition, we have a potential opportunity that we are praying about that could mean huge change for us. Yes, it would be easy to worry and complain; however, that would not change anything and woul only make the situation worse. So, in this new school year as we transition back out of summer, I choose thankful. There are many things to be thankful for:
-My husband and I both have jobs in an uncertain economy.
-I received an unexpected pay raise.
-Both of our boys love school and were excited to go back.
-in the midst of the craziness Jim and I are still managing to carve out moments together.
-our little garden continues to produce fresh vegetables.
-It is not a struggle to get my boys to do their homework.
-Coworkers thst are good to be around.
-A Father God who has a plan for us and will lead us to either accept or reject the opportunity before us and who will walk with us through any changes that lie ahead.

What are you thankful for today?
