It Really is a Full-time Job

I am realizing that with the price of gas at $4 a gallon and grocery costs climbing, in addition to the many home repair and vehicle replacement costs we are facing, I need to finally be truly consistently frugal. I've begun keeping track of everything spent so that I can't hide behind how I think I'm doing.
Some frugal things I am still doing. There are others that I do at some times but not others. There are many more things I could be doing to get our expenses as low as possible. Transitioning to full time work this school year has been harder on me than I like to admit. It is easier to be more frugal when I am home more. However, the tagline to my blog states that no matter what else I do, homekeeping is a full-time job. So here I go again. Time to throw off the feelings of being overwhelmed and depressed which leads to overspending and neglect of Home. Time to begin treating homekeeping as the most important job that it is instead of as a sideline to my paid work.
