We are on Spring Break this week! Today was the official first start of spring and a great start to our week since temperatures were in the 70s and it was beautuiful out. We aren't traveling anywhere this week. Instead we are looking forward to a week at home. Caleb will have his first baseball practice on Monday and Jim has an eye appointment that afternoon. On Thursday the boys have their first practice for our church's Palm Sunday childrens' program and Jim is taking the youth group to a Winter Jam concert in Evansville. Otherwise we have a wonderfully unplanned week ahead of us. Some possibilities:
-lasagna night with homemade lasagna
-the mummy dig program at the library on Thursday
-picking up more classic tv shows or movies at the library & having a family movie night
-shopping at the first day for spring merchandise at St. Vincent dePaul's on Wednesday
-Daddy & the boys heading to the park for a little batting/catching practice
-pancakes for breakfast!
-spring cleaning & decluttering
-reading outside
-heading to the Dairy Barn for the first giant ice cream cones of the season
-getting flower beds ready to plant
-sleeping in :)
-crafts, magic tricks, & science experiments (all things the boys plan to do this week)
-family game night
-a few home repairs (easy stuff like replacing our shower head)
-trying a recipe I saw at Frugal Granola for peanut butter popcorn
Whatever we actually do this week whether it be all of the above or none of it, we are definately looking forward to the time off together. What are you doing for Spring Break?
