Planning Update

So in my experiment with using my calendar much as a teacher uses a plan book to organize and plan my days, I have been somewhat successful. The calendar works well for planning and keeping track of all the things I need to keep track of, and the space available for each day is just right for listing the events of the day, the planned supper menu, and a few priorotized to do items. My problem is not checking the calendar regularly to see what needs to be done, or just rebelling against my plan entirely and not doing anything on the list. It is definately a work in progress. I am being lenient with myself right now since our family is in the last few weeks of the marching band competition season. Since the boys and I often go to the contests to see my husband's band, our Saturdays are busy too. Once the contests end at the end of the month, I will have most Saturdays to use for cooking ahead and thouroughly cleaning house so that the weekly chores will be lighter.

  1. i miss having a planner from my old job...it was great to know what you had to do that day, and it was a satisfying way to feel productive...maybe I should start keeping one again and just have different priorities...hmmmm...maybe this weekend :)
